Dearest Kitty, what a beautiful lady Angel you are! You are absolutely gorgeous with that thick, fluffy, glistening coal-black fur that looks so soft. And what a sweet face you have, with those lovely big eyes, golden in your grown-up pictures, blue in that sweet kitten shot. Thank you for sharing those great photos with us! You are so noble, so content and wise in the adult shots, and then there you are, that precious tiny kitten perched on the toe of your dear young lady's shoe. I wish I could reach through the screen and ..all the way to the Rainbow Bridge! ..to pet you! I can't, of course, but I know the other Angels are all petting you for me :).
And what a touching story you have to tell! Your family-to-be had a dog and about 12 outdoor cats. Then they moved and got more dogs, so the cats ran away to the neighbor's house, where they've stayed. Your dear young-friend-to-be wanted a cat, and then her sister surprised her with a black kitten.. you! You were doing just fine, living on the balcony where you enjoyed the wind and fresh air and watching the world from there. Then one day you disappeared, and there was no sign of you for more than two weeks. Then you were heard meowing, and it was discovered that you had somehow gotten trapped within the floorboards. You moved around, and finally you were located under the tub. Your friend's dad pried up the wood under the tub, and you were free and with your dear friend at last! Unfortunately, four weeks trapped with no food or water did you no good. You were skinny and frail, and then one evening your friend came home to find you under her bed, stationary with sharp breathing and wide eyes. She made you a bed of blankets and prayed for a miracle. And then on Thanksgiving morning, you breathed your last in her arms.
My very deepest sympathy to your dear friend and all your family. They love you and grieve you and miss you very much. Now you are a glorious Angel at the Rainbow Bridge, whole and healthy again, resting and playing with so many other loving and beloved Angels. Please send some Angelic purrrs to your friend's heart, reassuring her that all is well, you are with her always, watching over her and sending down love, and you will all be together again, One Fine Day..
