mickey's first check-up

well, today we took mickey for his first vet check-up. i was at school today and missed it :( but my sister went and told me he was such a good boy. he was wagging his tail and wasn't scared at all - until a few dogs started barking at him. :p the doctor checked his stomach and teeth and weighed him. he's only 8 lbs! :eek: he looked huge next to this 7 lbs. dog.

they also stuck a thermometer in his rear (:p) and apparently, he fell asleep! :rolleyes: he got his booster and didn't cry at all. i'm so proud of him and relieved all is well. :) we have to get him neuteured in a month though. :o

anyways, just wanted to update you on him, if anyone was interested...

I'm so glad to hear Mickey got an A+ on his report card from the vet! Wow he is only 8lbs.? He looks bigger in his pics. I know he is just a baby, but how old is he?

he is 2 months old and 3 weeks. :)

He sure does look more than 8 lbs. Why can't the scale be so forgiving to everyone?! :D Glad his check up went well!

Wow, great to hear that his check-up went well. I know we need to get Destiny into the vet soon. It will be interesting to see if her visit goes that well or if she acts up at all!

When the vet stuck the thermometer in Kito (same place), he didn't make a noise or move or anything. I expected him to try to get away or bark or something, but nope, didn't bother him one bit.

Glad Mickey's check up went great! I agree with Souraya. I wish the scale was more forgiving with me!!!

Glad Mickey is ok! Nebo always seemed to be sick at his vet visits as a young pup...eye infection, sore throat, diarhea...etc.......Be happy Mickey is a healthy boy! :D

Mickey is such a good puppy boy, isn't he? Way to behave at the white coats!!!!!
