A week before Thanksgiving my cat Viciously attack to me jumping on my leg Attacking my hand I had to go to the hospital long behold 2 weeks later she did it again I'm afraid of her I don't know what to do I don't wanna turn my back I don't know what's wrong with her I almost want to get rid of her even though I've had her since she was a baby and I love her dearly but I cannot be afraid of my own animal A hand was instantly if infected it was 3 times the size of my other hand
This is very serious, as you already have realized.
Under no circumstances should you be injured by your pet. This might sound harsh, but euthanasia should be considered.
If you are not at that point yet, consult with your veterinarian. How old is your cat?
Since this is a new behavior, there could be some sudden health issues.
I am a veterinary assistant, and we have occasional cases like this. Almost always, there is no good outcome. Sometimes we refer the clients to an animal behaviorist, but I can tell you, more often than not, they recommend euthanasia, especially if the pet has attacked and injured a person.
