Whiskey and Corky, what a great team!

Dearest Whiskey and Corky, what a beautiful pair of kitties you are! You are both absolutely gorgeous, Whiskey a fine-looking Tuxedo guy and Corky a handsome Tabby with white trim. Thank you for sharing all those great photos with us! They show not only your stunning good looks but also your excellent teamwork. You are so cute both cuddled up together and also working together on challenging tasks such as checking out that online cat there. I wish I could reach through the screen and over to Thornhill, Ontario to pet you both! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Meowmie will pet you both for me :).

And what a terrific story you have to tell! You have each come into the life of your dear Meowmie after the tragic early loss to cancer of a beloved feline companion. Whiskey, you helped to bring comfort to her and her dear Rodney kitty in their grief after their dear Ernie kitty's passing at just age six. Then she had another heartbreaking experience just a few months later: Rodney passed away also at just age six. She was in the process of moving then, and afterwards she got you, Corky, at the SPCA. You boys became friends for life! You have been Meowmie's constant companions ever since, bringing her comfort and joy through the ups and downs of her life.

You guys have the most delightful Purrrsonalities, and you make her smile with all your antics and energy! You keep very busy schedules, wrestling with one another, acting excited to get your canned food and then rejecting it, begging for treats, sitting and watching the squirrels outside, and playing with your many toy mice and catnip pillows. You love everyone and are in the thick of things, whatever is going on. Then it's laptime with Meowmie, fighting for space and then both of you sleeping on her (after you, Whiskey, give her a tummy massage). You and she all love each other dearly, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

Congratulations, darling Whiskey and Corky, on being chosen today's Cats of the Day! We hope you both and dear Meowmie and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats. We know Ernie Angel and Rodney Angel and all the Angels are rejoicing with you at the Rainbow Bridge!

Whiskey and Corky could not be more fabulous cats of the day! I am so glad they are your companions now, you have been through your share of troubles for sure. Dear Whiskey and Corky, what a handsome kitty pair you are. :love::love::love: You two are not only beautiful on the outside, but on the inside as well.
Both of you have helped each other and especially your mom through some rough and sad times.
Neither one of you is shy around people, and you are the life of the party. And at the end of the day, you both fall asleep on your mom's lap.
Whiskey and Corky, you are indeed special boys, and I wish you and mom (who is in good company here at PT with all the other crazy cat ladies ;)) a great day full of celebration and many more happy and healthy years together.
