Hee hee - not that I have ever, ever had running shoes that fir, but those are appropriate for some feet!
When I was in high school, all the popular girls wore white Tretorn sneakers (with red stripes, the school colors) and all laced the exact same way. I wasn't in that clique, and I deliberately laced my sneaks the opposite way.

Not that we have odd feet in my family, but I look at that graphic and immediately identify each one by who should use that technique - right Lady's Human?

There's no technique listed for repeatedly blown out ankle causing instability in the foot and occasional collapses.
(which is why I wear boots damned near every day of the week)
