Today I had x-rays and saw my surgeon for the 12-week post-surgery appointment.
Everything is fine, restrictions are lifted, I can get back to doing whatever I feel up to doing!

So glad to hear that you are getting back to "normal". So nice to be pain free - isn't it?
Bad me - I cancelled a post-op appointment that I had with my surgeon on Nov 11th - and haven't gotten around to rescheduling. I will after the holidays tho. It's just too busy right now - and I so HATE that 2 hour drive each way to Baltimore. I MUST go tho - too much money, time, pain and aggravation went into this 2nd round of putting me back together - and I have to be sure that everything is as it is supposed to be.
Yay! So good to hear! Don;t overdo it, but glad life is better for you now!
Oh, that's awesome. It must feel liberating! Take care!
Thanks, folks! I plan to be VERRRRRY careful figuring out what I'm up to doing.
Ellie, by all means, reschedule the appointment! That's New Year's Resolution #1, make that trip to Baltimore and back. That one trip won't seem like much compared to having to make many such trips in the future if you start having troubles again.
