What a funny name you have, Mustache, cutie - I am thinking your markings must have changed from when you were a baby and got your name, as we see no mustache-like markings on your now! We are glad you no longer have to deal with lice, and are so sorry your first family gave you up! I do know military family can sometimes have to move frequently, they may have wanted you to have a more stable forever home - and now you do! You are such a cooperative boy - not ever piggie would have worn that collar, or posed inside that orange container, either! We know your new mom has a soft spot in her heart for guinea pigs, and so you have landed yourself a great home! Happy Halloween to you, too, maybe mom will give some extra treats to celebrate a day early!

What an adorable court jester you make, Mustache, and how festive is that comfy bed!:D You're just too precious for words, Mustache, and it breaks my heart to think a wheeker as sweet and loving as you was surrendered by your former "family." "Bored...too much work...just don't want her/him anymore..." The reasons (excuses!) people give for surrendering their pigs is simply inexplicable. Piggies are among the most carefree of all pets, requiring only the most minimal of physical care! They want nothing more than to be provided with a healthy diet and fresh water, a comfy "home," a little exercisel to be LOVED! A small "price" to pay for the love and joy they bring to our lives!

We're so grateful to your human for her/his dedication to guinea pig rescue, her commitment to piggies in need; for rescuing YOU and providing you with all the veterinary care necessary to assure your continued good health! Under your human's loving care you're not only surviving, you're thriving, finally enjoying the happy, love filled life you always deserved! And who knows, maybe one day down the line you'll have a furry friend of your own to pal around with, to bond with! But in the meantime, it's heartwarming knowing that forever and always you will be loved and cherished unconditionally, for the very special boy that you are!
