Benjamin Franklin (or maybe Christopher Bullock) said it best when he said, "Nothing is certain but death and taxes." Death is an inevitability that we all must face someday... unless someone invents some kind of invincibility serum. But who would want that? Living forever sounds pretty boring.

IMO - they are all pretty stupid. 14 & 17 got half a grin (or was it a smirk?:rolleyes:) from me.

I actually enjoy the trope where the personification of Death is replaced by a mortal for a time; been done in many contexts.

I have the exact quote at work so can't attribute it to the person and can't give it in exact wording, but a man asked for his last words before execution said something like this: "Be you a king or a street sweeper, everyone dances with the Grim Reaper". How true.
