Strawberries

I figured the birds and critters would love them as much as I do. I set one out, I bought a box of strawberries, and one had a bad spot on one side and was a tad overripe, so I set that one out for the wildlife a couple hours ago when I put birdseed out, and it is still untouched!

Birds always were a concern when Uncle Mac grew strawberries ...

Maybe its like our blueberry bush? The birds take them 2 days before I consider them ripe to pick. =( Next year, we are getting a scarecrow! :rolleyes:
