Hi Lani, you know there is a cute tabby face to say hello to me every morning- but today it even got better: your cute tabby face greeted me as soon as I opened the computer. I love your white tail tip- I think that is very elegant. And I loved your story- how you picked your human. You knew immediately that this purrson was the right one- kitties are soooo smart:)
And now you have a GSD uncle and an older Burmese sister. i hope you have a fantastic celebration today with play and treats for everyone:)

Thank you! Leilani has given us much joy in the year that we have had her, and I know she will give us more in the years to come. She is a sweet girl, and she its VERY cat. I do hope to get her a little brother or sister in the near future. (Zara will just have to deal with having another youngster in the house. Lol) The pictures of her are each of a different time as she's grown into the big girl we have today, the one of her in my lap being when we first brought her home a year ago, and the one of her looking at a wasp through the window being from just the other day.

Congrats on COD. You are such a pretty kitty. Reminds me of my Mikey I had a few years ago. He lived to be 17 YO and traveled in the RV for a year.

Leilani is a Hawaiian name, meaning "lei of the heavens." I used to lived there, and feel a deep connection with the Islands. I give my pets Hawaiian names if I feel it is a good fit. I used to have another girl when I was going to school on the Big Island I named Lokelani, which is a very small pink rose that grows on the island of Maui.

Secret is actually my 7 year old German Shepard, but yes, the three of them get along great. Secret loves his kitties :) The largest amount of cats was 14, and 8 dogs. We had a house full XD

Oh, dearest Leilani, named for the "lei of the heavens." What an adorable young lady you are! You have just the sweetest face ever, with those big pale-green eyes gazing out at me (except when they're gazing at the wasp). And what a nice collection of photos of you! I'd love to reach down through the screen to Kissimmee, FL to pet that gorgeous soft-looking brown tabby fur! And since I can't, I am sure that your loving and beloved Purrrson EarthEmerald will pet you for me ;). How nice that you are a Pet Talk kitty!

What a delightful Purrrsonality you have, and what a great friend to your family you are! You knew who your Meowmie was right away when you met her at the SPCA and settled down purring in her lap, and then you and Meowmie and Pawpie all went HOME. That is great that you have your big kitty sister Zara, you both have a surrogate mom in Secret the German Shepherd, and you may even get a new kitty sibling soon! How nice to see photos of Zara and Secret in the gallery, too. You love to cuddle up and sleep with your Purrrents at night, sometimes licking heads or chewing Meowmie's hair. You all love each other very much, don't you.. and so you should! What a wonderful love-filled home you all share.

Sweetest Leilani

You are so very photogenic. I just love all your photos, especially your little kitten one. How could anyone resist you? Your story is just wonderful. I love that you chose your mummy and that Secret looked after you too. It seems that the universe conspired for you to find your purrfect furrever home! You even have Zara to play with now.

It’s good to know that you keep your family on its toes and remind them that you are NOT to be locked out of the bathroom. And of course you should sleep wherever you want, even if it is a pillow. After all, a cat’s home is its castle!
