Tucker is a real baby!!!

Tucker absolutely LOVES to cuddle with me. He will climb up on my shoulder and literally snuggle up, lie his little head down, and purr himself to sleep. If I am standing, he will look up at me, I will pat on my chest, and he jumps up into my arms. He is the sweetest baby I've ever had.

This is a pic I had my hubby take, a little too close and blurred, but you can see that he was asleep on mommy's shoulder!

Anyone else have such a big baby as my Tucker?

Nakita is similar in wanting to jump up on shoulders. She HAS to be the highest "being" in the room that she is in. Also, if your in a room talking on the phone or to someone else, she makes it her business to interrupt you till you pick her up. She's a self-centered suck!

Nakita also is the biggest baby when we go to sleep. She crawls under the blankets, flips over on her back, and then leans against me for balance. She just loves sleeping on her back (I guess she's copying us humans?)

Tubby is a big baby too. He likes me to carry him over my shoulder, kinda like Tucker is in the picture, except Tubby is normally awake, and half hanging over my shoulder. He likes it when I pat his butt when he's like this, and sometimes he will sniff my hair, then will start yanking on it. If I have my hair all pulled back in a big barrett, he will rub his gums on the barret, all the while I'm patting him on the butt. :rolleyes: He just loves it though, because when I go to put him down, it's like he climbs up higher and hangs on tighter. My big 15 pound, 16 1/2 year old baby. :rolleyes: :D But I don't know what I'd do without him. :cool:

Don't ya just love 'em ... no matter how BIG they are!!!

Sounds very familiar..Ritz gives a "paws up" to another kitty that enjoys a good "butt pat". At 15lbs, this big cat just kind of hanging there ...but today she felt good. my shoulder was sore from probably some stupid human maneuver, and Ritz felt like a heating pad....that purred! :)

kimlovescats, Yes, I have 3 like that. Namely, my last 3 adoptees, the biggest baby is Christmas cat (Chris). He does exactly the same thing. The other 2 ( Happy, and Puma) also do this but not as affectionate as Chris.

That's such a cute pic Kim. :) All 3 of my cats are big babies. Storm is about 15lbs. and loves to cuddle with me in bed and have his belly rubbed and his back scratched. Pepper is about 17lbs. and he loves me to pick him up and give him a big hug. He's also a lap cat and since he's so big my lap disappears when he's on it. He also likes to knead my neck and chest and drool on me. Sunny is about 11-12lbs. and he's also a lap cat and loves his belly rubbed and back scratched. He also cuddles next to me in bed. He'll even give me headbumpies head to head and sometimes try to lick my hair. I'm glad that my cats are such mamma's boys. :)

Yes, My Rocky is the same way..He loves to get up on my shoulder and tries to fall asleep..he is getting so big now he will slip off...my lap is the place where he fits better and sleeps more comfortably..:) How old is Tucker by the way? He is soo handsome!

Tucker is almost 8 months old now!:)
