Anyone want a Harley?
One of my friends that now lives in Phoenix AZ, is rehoming her dog. I am not happy about it. But apparently she feels she must. I do not want Harley to go back to the shelter. She is 10 mos old, housebroken, rarely barks. And probably and GSD/Lab/JRT mix. If anyone knows anyone who might be interested please PM me. We don't have much time. She will be back in OH on the 18th.
This is her email to me:
ANYBODY WANT A DOG FOR CHRISTMAS? HARLEY NEEDS
SOMEONE THAT CAN SPEND MORE TIME W/ HER OR SOMEONE
THAT PROVIDE HER W/ A BIG BACK YARD THAT SHE CAN RUN
FREELY IN. ME AND HARLEY HAVE BEEN HAVING CONFLICTING
DIFFERENCES AND SHE CAN NO LONGER STAY W/ ME. I WOULD
REALLY LIKE TO MAKE SURE SHE GOES TO A GOOD HOME, IF
NOT, I WILL PROBABLY END UP PUTTING HER IN THE
MARICOPA COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER. SHE'S HOUSEBROKEN,
BUT I REALLY THINK SHE WOULD PREFER THE GREAT
OUTDOORS. SHE'S NOW ABOUT 10 MTHS OLD, SHE'S VERY
ENERGETIC AND PLAYFUL. SHE NEVER BARKS. I'D BE
WILLING TO FLY HER HOME W/ ME IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED
IN ADOPTING HER. I'VE PUT ALOT OF MONEY IN
HER,.....SHE'S SPAYED AND HER DEW-CLAWS (SP) ARE
REMOVED. I HAVE ALL HER SHOT RECORDS.
SO, ANY TAKERS? PLEASE!!!

Awww what a CUTE dog! You can really see the GSD in her (love the ears!) She's 10 months...doesn't look too big....how much does she weigh?

OMG....That looks like Smokey's sister.My mouth dropped
open when I saw Harley's picture. Even "sits pretty" like my
Moki man.:D I don't have a big yard, but she doesn't look
like a big dog either.How much does she weigh? Does she
get along with cats?

I only saw Harley in June and she was much smaller and alot more HYPER!! My friend said she seems to have calmed down. I don't know what the problems are, and I don't know if she gets along with cats. I am certain she has never been around them. She lives in an apartment in Phoenix. I think it is simply b/c she doesn't have the time or desire to work with her. I love her to death but when she moved out there I tried telling her several times to wait wait wait!! And this is coming from someone who would DIE without her critters.
She is coming home to Putnam County, Ottawa OH on the 18th. IF we need to do a transport to IN I can try my darndest to get the 19th off but I need to know asap. Or I could do it Sunday the 22nd. I would imagine she would do fine with the cats as long as Smokey keeps her in line (hypothetical :) ) and the cats have their claws. She got her thru the worst part, it took her forever to potty train her and now she seems to be housebroken.

Gosh, I'd better not commit to this. I'm like you and once
I adopt an animal, they'd have to pry my cold dead fingers
loose to get it away from me.LOL. Honestly, she is a real
cutie and Smokey would LOVE to have a doggie to wrestle
with, BUT , at my age & stage of life (old as dirt & thinking
about retirement) I'd better stick with one dog & the seven
kitties I have now. I can't let my heart overrule my head on
this. Harley deserves the best in life & I pray she'll find her
forever home soon. Love & Hugs from Liz and Moki. :)

I can't see the pics right now, but if she looks like Moki she has to be adorable!!! I hope something works out!! If you need help with a transport in this area, please let me know!!!

I think I may have someone here in Tucson that is interested. I just emailed her the info and the pics. If she would like to adopt Harley I'll be willing to drive up to Phx and pick her up and bring her back to Tucson. Keep your fingers and paws crossed that she'll be interested in Harley.

Mike and I will take her if no one wants her. What's one more?? She'll be loved and well taken care of.

That's great to hear Mugsy!! Hopefully I'll hear back from my friend soon about Harley. I'll still keep trying here in Az. But it's good to know she'll have a home.

I know my cousin's wife wants a dog (they live in Phoenix) but my cousin isn't so sure. They are also expecting their first child this spring, so I'm not sure this is the right time for them to get their first puppy...but I'll send an email...
