Goodbye Huell Howser!

Huell Howser, California's real gold, has passed away....:(

Howser, originally from Tennesee, was the host of a few TV shows on PBS that spotlighted his travels around California.

He was fun, interesting and educational to watch and always had something you didn't know about California on his shows.

He was a genuine good guy and his shows will hopefully go on. If you ever have any interest in pretty much any part of CA, he's probably done a show on it.

RIP Dude.

I loved him, always watched him on PBS on thursday nights. He did a special on Half Moon Bay and I could never say it again without his twang. A coworker of mine knows how much I love him he would come to my office and grab a pencil and say look at that pencil, thats amazing.

RIP Huell hope its amazing up there and I know you will find all the amazing things to be found.

I found his energy, enthusiasm, and verve for learning/sharing so inspiring. Rest well, Huell, you'll be missed.
