S & R Dogs provide Therapy

This article tells how the Search & Rescue dogs working on the New York WTC site are providing another service to the humans around them. Apparently, the dogs are also providing 'therapy' for the people working there who are under great emotional stress. Workers like police & firefighters come up to the dogs to pat & hug them & talk to them. Looks like another example of how dogs serve humanity over & above the call of duty.
