Great Dane or Chihuahua?

Which would you rather have a Great Dane or a Chihuahua?

Since we have 2 already, I'd say Great Dane. Chihuahuas are just too darn dinky. We have a Mantle and a Mantle Merle

Ummmmm...how about something in-between??? My favorite dogs are between 40 and 60 pounds.

My boyfriend has a long coat Chi who is everything that smooth chi's never seem to be. (sweet, tolerant, quiet, cuddly, etc....) I'd certainly go for another Chi currently, but I might change my mind if I had more property. It wouldn't be fair to keep a Dane in my area....

I am a big time chi chi lover so, therefore, I would get a chihuahua. Although there is a GD that lives down the street and he is a big baby. Chihuahua's have a big attitude that you wouldn't want in a GD that is for sure! Cisco is very protective and a one person dog. I got a chi because you can take them everywhere. Also, little goes in and little comes out! :) LOL.

Luckily Ricky & Lucy tu went back to bed and didn't see some of the comments on this question. We all love Great Danes but we also love our chihuahuas and just like any other breed, with the right training chihuahuas are not "nippy, mean, or darn dinky" What does darn dinky mean anyway?

Well, at one time Dakota was close to the size of a Chi, but now she's growing so quickly, I love her size each step of the way! Anyways, just as Mugsy said, since I already have a Dane, I think my response is obvious! Plus, Chi's are just too small for me, I like to cuddle and play with bigger dogs who I don't think I will break really easily! :D :D

Choose a chihuahua everytime, over big dogs.:)

chi chi! most definately! i love small dogs, and recently had to put down my chi. i loved him so much, and cant think of any dog with a better personality!:(
