Edwina has a Jealous Streak!

My niece lives in our basement along with her guinea pig -- Turnip. I love to hear Turnip wheek -- which she does when she see me (could it be that weekend when I took care of her while my niece went home? Turnip and I bonded over some carrots.)

So if Leslie is downstairs when I come home I'll take a little bit of carrot or some parsley down to Turnip (also an excuse to talk with Leslie!)

Edwina DOES NOT LIKE THIS!! She sits on the threshold to the basement stairs, peeking around the corner and yeowling like she is going to the vet or something. I walk back to where she can see me and she stops yeowling. I go back to Turnip and YEOWL!!!!

Finally last night she came down into the basement. She skirts around the room hiding behind the sofa spying on Turnip and me. Don't want the vicious guinea pig to see her!

Cats just do not like guinea pigs ..! Maya is scared of Jasper !!
It is funny , I know , she is at least 4 x Jasper's size !!

Cats are so good at expressing themselves, aren't they? How sweet that she gets jealous if your attentions aren't on her! Scooter gets a little jealous if his daddy is paying attention to Marius, because he only wants attention from his daddy...and Marius could go either way. LOL Although, it is evident that we really do have his and hers cats! Scooter is such a daddy's boy! LOL :D
Be sure to tell Edwina that she hasn't been replaced and that she's still your favorite cat! :D LOL ;)

Maybe Edwina is afraid you will start putting hats on the GP!:D

Bastet gets jealous! I can talk to other people and she will sit there and nip my leg until I let her on my lap! She also guards my room whenever I am away overnight as my flatmate found out! I don't need a watchdog! I have a watchcat!

If I'm on the floor playing with Sid or Joxer and Jan sees me, suddenly she is my best friend and wiggles her way inbetween me and the boys:D
