Oh, Deer!

For a brief moment this morning, someone forgot that she's an old puppy with issues.

We went out for our morning constitutional, and there were three deer (one doe and two fawns) right up next to the house. Lady spotted them before I did, and went BOLTING off of the deck to chase them.

Now she has to deal with forgetting she has issues with a paw.

Oh, poor Lady! I hope her momentary lapse won't be too painful, and the memories she experienced well worth it.

Well, those deer had the temerity to be in HER yard! How dare they? ;)

Aww, I hope she didn't hurt herself.

Well, a dog has to do what a dog has to do! :D

Well worth the price of a bit of discomfort, to feel that burst of puppy energy again! Feel better soon Lady.

It took her the better part of a day to recover, but last night I was ordered down onto the floor for a few minutes of wrestling. :D
