Yeah, it aggravates me to see people with a cell phone glued to their ear while driving. I wonder what all of our new technology is doing to us. What is the next generation going to be like in 50 years? Recently I made a visit to a McDonald's restaurant. A local girls' softball team came in, and as I ate my meal I watched the girls. Every one of them had either ear plugs in or were fooling with what apparently were their cell phones -- texting, apparently. I stayed long enough to see that practically none of the girls were socializing face-to-face with each other.
By the way, I was curious, so I did a bit of research. It didn't take me long: 80% of car mishaps are being attributed to the fact that so many of us eat while driving!

It's practically impossible to speak to ANYONE in the street these days. :rolleyes: Even if you stop in front of someone asking if they want $100 you won't get a response.
Btw, isn't it illegal to speak on a handheld phone while you drive? It is here - and for a good reason.
