Mom's Dog

I think I have written about my mom's love for dogs and her two doberman Ozzy, and Roxie. I received a package from my grandmother that had a bunch of Mom's stuff. My mother was an airforce officer and traveled alot, so my grandmother kept most of her belongings. A few years ago, my grandparents lost everything in a fire. The things she sent me were what was left over.

To make a long story short, here is my mother with Roxie in 1975. Aren't they both so beautiful?

Unfortunately, Sue. This is the only picture that survived the fire. Mom has a few of Roxie and Ozzy. I will ask her to scan them. And yes, she loved those pups very much!

Beutiful picture! It is so fun to see the pictures of dogs in the past...thsi weekend my my sent me a bunch she found of some of their former dogs...I have getting them ready to post now :)

That picture is so nice. Your mom is very pretty and so is Roxie. I have a big soft spot for Dobies. Mom used to breed/own them when I was a little girl.

Well, a couple of people took the words right out of my mouth! You look sooooo much like your beautiful mom .... what a wonderful legacy for her to have a beautiful daughter who shares her love for dogs!!!! She would be very proud of you, no doubt!
