I'm getting a kitten!!!!
Remember the little disabled kitten I posted about a couple weeks ago--I put her on reserve today! She's coming here as soon as she is ready to leave the momma cat! WOO Hooo!! I haven't had a kitten for ages. I talked to the vet and we are going to try some little splints on her front legs and see if she can gain some mobility. She gets around right now, but certainly not like a normal kitten.
This is Stardust as the shelter calls her, but I think her new name will be Felicia!

She is beautiful. A true beauty. And so tiny. Kittens are SO much fun to have around. I hope your new Felicia will soon be getting around enough to run and play. She's so very lucky to have found you.

your new kitty
how precious....how tiny....how wonderful of you to be "there" for the soon-to-be felicia! hope the splints do wonders for her. keep us posted.

How wonderful for both of you! It is surprising how well cats can get along with a handicap. A friend of mine had a blind cat (she passed away at 15 years) who walked erverywhere and you could never have told and this summer in Greece I saw a cat with 3 legs who was as happy and quick as the others from her herd. I am sure Felicia (what a well chosen and beautiful name) will make your life much more entertaining.
