charlie is adorable, but as the owner of a formally obese cocker spaniel who is now 12 years old and still frisky, try to keep his weight down for his health. Spaniels are big eaters & it is hard to say no to those big eyes. My Ringo weighed 40 pounds when he was young due to too much indulgence. It was hard to say no & listen to him cry & growl at the refridgerator but I am glad he is now svelt and handsome in his old age.

Charlie - you certainly are a cute little butterball. You have such a sweet and loving look about you, and since I always thought Goldens had that same look, then you and Sammy are well matched. I enjoyed reading about your adventures and seeing your cute pictures. I just love the one of you and Sammy on the sofa - she didn't squish you too much - did she?? That's quite a size difference that was going on there. :D
