I got a little teary reading your Mommy's very touching tribute to her/his best boy! I'm so sorry that at age 4.5 you found yourself in need of a home, Thumper. But thanks to your wonderful rescue group, blessedly, you were given the opportunity to choose for yourself the most loving and caring of forever homes, complete with a beautiful bunwife to call your very own!:) And what a precious pair you and Maggie Moo make. Your love and devotion for one another is truly an inspiration! (The pics of you two together, all of your pics, are simply heart melting!:love:
How lucky you are to have one another, and how lucky your Mommy is, having two such precious creatures to love and cherish.
You and Maggie may be entering your golden years, but I have a feeling you both still have a lot of living and loving to do, and I hope for you both, many more carefree, love filled years with your family!:)

Thank you all so much for the sweet comments. Thumper is an amazing boy and I love him with all my heart!! All of you brought me to tears with the kind words, it certainly hits harder right now since he is starting to show his age. I will forever be grateful for being allowed to show my handsome boy with everyone <3

I am sadden to say that after 8 wonderful years with my baby boy Thumper; he passed away at the age of 9.5 on May 13th at 9:45 pm in my arms. I love and miss him so much. I can't describe the heartache of him not being here anymore is causing me. I will forever love him and he will forever be my baby boy.
I am so sorry to hear of Thumpers passing. He knows how much he was loved and took that with him to the Rainbow bridge. I am so glad he was with you during the last. When it's my time to go, I'd love falling asleep in the arms of someone I love and waking up in heaven. I'm sure you will be together again some day. :love:
Play hard at the Rainbow Bridge, Thumper, and go find Miss Hoppy - she'll show you where the tastiest greens grow, and the best resting places.
Oh Aimee. I'm so, so very sorry to hear of the passing of your sweet boyThumper.:( All of the Pets of the Day are special, but I remember so well how touched I was by his story, and your and Maggie's love for him. We all know how your heart is breaking beyond description, Aimee, Maggie's too. But please take comfort in the knowledge that every minute of his life with you and Maggie Moo he knew how cherished he was, and left your arms on angel wings that sad evening with his heart full of love. He was truly blessed to have had you as his forever Mom, and is no doubt looking down on your from the Rainbow Bridge today, sending you his love as he patiently waits for that day when you and he are together again.
