Supper-time game

My dog Jackie, a 93-lb. yellow Lab, won't eat until one of the cats, usually Mickey, checks out her supper dish. Jackie will patiently stand over her food, and sure enough, Mickey will run over (abandoning his own supper) and practically sit right in Jackie's dish. Mick will stick a paw in and sample the fare, and apparently that's Jackie's cue to dig in. That is kind of like what my cat Samantha does to my dog Comet's food except she eats it if he doesn't......kind of wierd huh!!!

I love that story! I think our animals are so funny together. Sometimes my big Golden Retrievers will stand back and watch our little 6 pound cat eat their food or drink out of their water dish.
