Photoshoot with Mirasol!
Today I bought a couple of dark marble tiles. This wasn't what I originally had in mind for them, but I'm pleased with the results! Looks like I might have found a way to capture the color of my pink snakes!

She bounced right back after her regurge! She's eating, digesting, pooping fine, and still tries to take a piece of my finger off if I'm not careful! I'm really eager to see her color up as she grows....if she's this pink now she'll be astonishing in a couple of years!

Mirasol is so pretty! Such a pretty pink!
-
Great pictures. The marble really does bring her color out.:)
-
What a great backdrop for her, I remember you saying before how hard it was to photograph her real color!

Thanks everyone! I'm sure thrilled with her! Every time she sheds her skin it's like Christmas, she just gets better and better!

Snakemama, I heard a commercial on the radio and thought of you. It's for U.S. Cellular and features Mal Sharpe, who's a radio host and comedian. Back in the day he had a well-known series of "man on the street" interviews, kind of like Leno's "Jay Walking". Anyway, the U.S. Cellular commercial is along those lines. He explains that he is talking to people on the street to let them know U.S. Cellular can save them money. He then talks to a woman who finds out how much money she can save by signing up for U.S. Cellular and asks her what she will do with the money she saves. Her answer: Get a corn snake! And I thought of you when I heard that :)
