I woke up late to take Cameron to the bus this morning. After a long wrestling match in the bathroom involving a toothbrush and a kid who didn't want to USE the toothbrush, some bubblegum toothpaste smeared all over, I gave up and told him to just get his shoes and jacket on. As we walked out the door, we saw the bus going along the side street.
Sooo.... Cameron starts freaking out about being late and runs down the street to the bus stop (he has yet to figure out hat once the bus is seen on the side street, it takes about 5 minutes to go over a street, pick up kids, and come down our street) Callie is with me and starts running after Cameron. He's running, looking back, telling me to hurry up.
Callie starts pooping during the run. :rolleyes: (well, I guess we can pick it up on the walk back home). Cameron continues to run and call for us to catch up. Callie keeps running and her collar snaps off. She caught up to Cameron and does the best down-stay I have NEVER seen her do. :rolleyes:
I catch up, and the bus STILL has not arrived. Put Callie's collar back on and head home, with a poop pickup pit stop on the way. and to bed.
I wake up a couple hours later and realize I missed a doctor's appointment -- with the sleep specialist. Hey, if you're going to sleep through a doctor's appointment, why not the sleep specialist?
I called the doctor and they squeezed me in for 11:30. We leave there, and I am woozy from not having eaten. Hubby suggests eating out for lunch to cheer me up. We get to Olive Garden, he drops me off because the lot was c-r-a-z-y and I proceed to fall flat on my face on the cement. People run to help me up -- hubby had already turned the corner to find a parking spot.
I was too embarassed so I got up and limped in. They served me the WORST meal of my life. Which was free thanks to the manager. I went home to another nap. and woke up to a swollen ankle. Sigh.
I remembered a dentist appt for tonight right before the sleep study I'm doing all night. I called my dentist to make sure I'll be done in time for the sleep study. They don't have me on the schedule. Considering my day, its for the best that I do not have novacaine.
I have to go back to the sleep doctor tonight. What else can go wrong? I still have half a day to endure!
