It is a cute story, but I do not think it is a very safe way for Dog to travel on that motorcycle with his owner. I am surprised that it is actual legal for him to do this.

That is adorable!! Our dogs won't go anywhere near the motorcycle if they know we are going to start it.
This past weekend we went to a motorcycle event and saw two motorcycles with little chihuahua's riding on the gas tanks. This was in town. I'm not sure if they rode that way on a highway. I hope not. The roads to Virginia City, NV are very curvy. One of the dogs had his back feet on the mans chest and his front feet on the tank. The other one sat on the tank and had his front feet on the middle area of the handle bars.

Glad to see that Dog had protective goggles, but where the heck was his helmet??? :eek::p:D

The guy who lives down a few houses from me has a border collie who is always sitting on his bike whether it's travelling or not....LOL
