Election day!
I've been following the debates on TV the past few weeks and it has been so exiting! I have of course voted. We have nine parties that are members of the parliament, with 179 seats - 4 of these are from Greenland and Faroe Island, which also belong to Denmark.
It looks like we're going to have a woman prime minister. One party has almost tripled their mandates. I can hardly wait to see the results. :D
We've had liberals running the country for the past ten years and we really need a change!

We have our first ever woman Prime Minister! It was a close run and nerve wrecking to watch the results come in, but she did it! I don't agree on everything she says, but some of the other parties will pull her in the right direction, including the one I voted for. They have tripled! :D I simply have to show you who Johanne Schmidt Nielsen is, she so cool! :cool:
