Meet Autumn!

We picked up our new puppy on Monday! She is such a good little puppy with the exception of we are having problems with puddles in the house. She is going potty several times in an hour and I just can't seem to catch them all :( No poopies in the house though and she gets along pretty well in her kennel unless she needs potty or is getting hungry. Her first night she did excellent! Not a peep out of her all night! Last night was a bit more up and down. She did a lot of whining but I think she was getting hungry. It has been a while since I have had a puppy but I am determined to turn her into a good doggy!

She is beautiful! :) I would take her to the vet to make sure she doesn't have a UTI.

That last picture my hubby took. He really is quite a photographer. She has her first vet appointment on Friday at 11. I will talk to the vet about her frequent accidents in the house.

The vet did do a urinalysis and it came out that she probably does have a slight kidney infection so they gave me some antibiotics and hopefully that will clear things up. She hasn't had quite so many accidents today so that is encouraging. I did find a way to get her set up in our kitchen where if she does have an accident it should be much easier to clean up. Our visit, shots, waste analysis, and antibiotics ended up costing us $108.19. My "free" puppy isn't so free and she still needs her other shots in the next couple week and her spay. Oh I see the numbers rolling over in my head :)
