Precious Jerbear the Hermit Crab

What a beautiful, most precious creature you were, Jerbear, and so very loved by your devoted person. You were more than just a "pet," you were a very special part of you human's life, you were family, and we can only image the huge hole your passing has left in her/his heart. What a very special bond of trust, love and friendship you and she/he shared during your too brief time on this earth, Jeri. It's for sure you and she/he were meant to be as one; as one on this earth, and sometime in the distant furture, in heaven as well. Until that happy day of reunion, sweet girl, bask in the warmth of the Rainbow Bridge, scampering about healthy and whole with all of our beloved angels. You've earned your wings.

To the family of Jerbear...Thank you so much for sharing you very special friend with us all, giving us the opportunity to remember her; her wonderful life and all that she meant to you. She may have been a wee one, but the legacy she left behind, huge. As you say, there will never be another like her; she truly was one in a million, right down to her love for popcorn!:)

I am so happy you got to share your life with your loving human and knew love while you were here. Love goes on with us when we leave. I'm sure you took a huge boat load of it with you.

ODE TO JERI I am so sorry for your loss of Jeri. it is very painful to lose one that you love. I shall write you and Jeri a poem. I loved Jeri and Jeri loved me .We shared our Life as one. As far as hermit crabs concerned you were the most excellent one. I will celebrate the love we shared in my heart forever. one day I know w'll surely be together :love::love::love:ac

I was surprised to get the e-mail that she was going to be POTD from Karen :) I am so happy she got a tribute though, she deserved it. She was a very very good hermit crab and I'll always remember her. :)
