That's all! Tyler is 17 months old today. She's so smart, she loves books, and when I ask her to point to something in her book she always points to the correct picture. She can say several words now and is almost potty trained. She is getting really good at her ABC's, and we've been working on counting numbers. She's still so healthy, and is never sick.
We found out a few days ago that she is going to be a big sister! That is really going to turn her world around, as she is used to being #1. She's REALLY good with the kids in her playgroup but I think she'll be pretty jealous of a new baby. She's still nursing and I can't see her giving that up before the baby is born so it may be a struggle, but we'll see. We're really hoping it is a boy this time.

Miss Tyler, you are beautiful and stylin! I like your pink coat and boots that go together, and I like your green sunglasses in the very last picture! Hurray, you are going to be a big sister! I love that Fidji is right beside you as you are riding your tricycle (and also that dad can push you without having to bend). Have lots of fun sledding, having tea and tricycling!

Not sure when I'm due yet, but it should be sometime around the end of November. No summer birthday parties for my kids, I guess!

My little cousin Hayden was 2 when my cousin got pregnant again. He was generally quite spoiled and had a hard time sharing with kids at preschool. However, when his little sister came, he LOVED being a big brother. He's 4 now and she's 2, and he takes her under "his wing". lol
Hopefully it goes well for Tyler!

I wanted to tell you - summer birthday parties are not as great as you might think. Lots of people are on vacations, and sometimes it feels to hot to bake a cake, too. Enjoy your cooler-weather parties! (This is from someone whose birthday is late July, so trust me on this!)
