While not a HUGE fan of his...I loved his Friday night music shows...one of the precursors to music video programs.....

I remember fondly staying up to watch his show with my best friend. We would have to stiffle our squeals whenever one of our favorites were on. LOL! Especially when we'd tape record it (as in audio cassettes! Yes I'm old!) You could always hear us shushing each other on the tapes. Thanks for Davy Jones too. My first crush!

RIP Don Kirschner! Loved Rock Concert! Kept us in the loop as far as who the new hot groups were! Remember watching it with my best boyfriend ;) you know who you are:D!

I remember watching those rock shows when I was a kid. That's when I saw those clear boots with the fake goldfish in the heels.

He was a genius. RIP dear man.
