I got a car!

I got a car today, I am beyond excited. I've been waiting for my own car for so long. It's a little white 2010 Hyundai Elantra, and it's absolutely beautiful. :love: His name is Bruce, because he has a little fin for the Sirus Radio and it reminds me of the shark from finding nemo ;)

WOW - 2010 model no less. I'm still driving a 2003 Mazda Protege, altho it is in excellent condition and low mileage. The best thing about it too - it's paid for!!!!! :D

I don't want to go into THAT much detail, but someone my family is very close to bought it for me. He is the best man I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He has hooked me up with my past two dogs, Sassy AND Mikey. He is always helping out others, especially family. He is the GREATEST man I know, I swear. I mean, my parents got me and my sister a car and I was very happy with that but we didn't realize the problems we were going to be having sharing it. It was a nice car, but I couldn't expect them to buy me a car and I didn't. I was gonna get a crappy $2000 car with my own money next year. But I appreciate the fact they had gotten me and my sister a car. I was SO happy though that I got my own. It was a big surprise. :)

Wow, congratulations, I bet it's nice! My car Stitch is a 1995. Don't say crappy $2000 car, I only paid $1300 for mine so that implies mine is crappy! I agree with pomtzu, it's nice having a car that's 100% paid off, especially when it comes to insurance.

Hehe, sorry I didn't mean to say a $2000 car would be crappy, but mine would, considering good cars in my area are like $5000 + and I can't afford that. My parents also wouldn't let me buy a car older then 2001.
