My Girls!

Since "you know who" has been here, I have neglected to give the big girls much PT time and they ARE feeling neglected and missing PT. SO, I saw something the other day that gave me the idea to do a perch photo shoot on them, but as you know, you have to work things like that into THEIR schedule, not your own.. I finally completed that photo shoot today so I could do this.

They are more accepting of "you know who" now, even daring to pretend to play with her from time to time, that game where one chases one down the hall and the chased chases the chaser back up the hall.. Amy has excepted that she is to small to do her any harm and allowed her to invade her private space and walk with in inches of her or even lay there. Sometimes, I even end up with 2 kitties in my lap, one big one and "you know who".

The big girls are as sweet as ever, not objecting to "you know who" sleeping on the bed with us at night. They all each get their time with Mommy, in my lap with ,me loving them, still getting their brushing and treats.

So, this photo shoot will have a really nice surprise in it for you, it was for me when I saw it and she was gracious enough to give me time to get my camera and get proof.. On to the perch thread pictures..

Now to the surprise!! It's been years since I have seen her do this!! She was SO happy and pleased with herself, I did not see her get up there or down from there but she was proud as punch that she was there!!

*Gasp* is that . . . AMY?! Hooray, Amy, you did it! You got up on the perch for the photo shoot! :D

The other thing that struck me, I mean, beside your big surprise lol: the "big girls" are all safely settled will in the middle of the perch. "You know who" *giggle* is sprawled out and falling off! He he heeee.

Wasn't there another perch she started climbing up recently? And for ages you didn't know she was getting up or down? Amy is NOT going to let the others have all the good seats, no way! :D

Great pictures.:) Way to go Amy!!!:D When a cat wants to do something they'll find a way.;) It sure sounds like Caramella is fitting in nicely now. I truly believe that she's already found her forever home.;)

She is back up there this morning and this time I saw her get up there! She climbed up slowly and carefully, shaking and jerking all the way but she did it and agin, was so pleased with herself!!

I think those kittens inspired her, she couldn't let them do something she couldn't do now could she.. She is, after all, the more experienced and been here the longest...

Freedom- Yes, there is the one in the hall that she gets on all the time but is seems her and Giz have swaped places for awhile as Giz stays on that one a lot now..

Wonderful pictures! So Amy has moved on to bigger challenges - what a smart girl! :D She will be spending lots of time up there now.

Just at Giz resting her head on that edge - how sweet. :) And "you know who" almost sliding down. LOL!

That is true Lauar , that Caramella and the Kittens will be great at getting Amy to play and will inspire her to move around and extend her boundaries.
That is so sweet that Amy is finding a way to go and do things on her own.
I know that My Cat Angels will visit to see how Amy the Awesome is doing.

Laura, thanks for sharing your great photo shoot with us. They're as beautiful as ever, each looks so happy and content. Glad to hear they're more accepting of Caramela now. A kitten will get the older ones up and running.

I am so happy to see each of the beautiful Girls! I love Giz' beautiful colors, Boo's tabby stripes on her head, and Samantha's lovely black coat. And look at Caramella's back legs half off the platform, silly sweet widdle girl >^..^<
