My grandfather passed away yesterday...

Hey guys,

I just wanted to drop by and let everyone know that my grandpa passed away... He went really easy, I'm just not sure what to do without him.

My parents have been divorced since I was 1 and my grandpa and my mom raised me. He took Roxy in for me when we had to move to an apartment, and Roxy loved him to pieces, too.

Now he is with Roxy, my nanny, my aunt, and his family that he has lost over the years.

I'm dealing with it a lot better than I thought I would, but it's hard.

He was 80.

Definitely will keep you in my good thoughts... always hard to lose a grandparent, I know, I've been there. Keep yourself well.

We will keep you and your family in our prayers. Get yourself a journal and write down a memory of him every day for the next while, and keep it handy, so maybe some day when you have children of your own, you can share stories with them.

My Dad is 80, the grandfather of 9 and many "pseudo" grandkids, so if you need an extra Grandpa, I can loan him out. He's here in Massachusetts, but going strong.

How fortunate you were to have your grandfather for so long. I knew only one grandparent, my grandfather, and he passed when I was 12. The others died before I was born. What wonderful memories you must have. They'll keep you warm when you're down and tired. I'm sorry for your loss but happy that you had so many good years. :love:
