My beautiful Percy

I usually post on the Cats page, but there are other pets on my household. Percy was my beloved Betta, such a gorgeous boy. He was dark blue and red and lived in a 5 gallon tank. I brought him home in January 2009 and he was doing beautifully until last Monday. I noticed he was listless and kept hanging around the bottom of the tank. I looked up his symptoms but it seemed like every day it was something different.

I tried medicating him, a complete change of water, but nothing helped. I checked with the shop where I bought him and they suggested several options. Nothing worked and my sweet boy went to the RB on Tuesday.

He always knew when I was around and swam over to me; he would get so excited when he knew that I was going to feed him and would nip at my fingers.

I loved him and I will miss him enormously.
