Mercedes pictures...

... the last ones for a while! :(

I left home to live in London for university last Saturday, as some of you will probably know. I'm enjoying myself here despite a few hiccups, and am looking forward to my course starting and finally beginning my real journey to becoming a vet.

It did mean that I had to leave Mercy behind. Of course, I will be back home at Christmas time and during all the other term breaks, but it's a long time to be without my little sweetheart. I miss her furry nose poking through the bars every morning, and the noise she makes as she sleeps, and the patter of her paws as she follows me about the room. My family are taking good care of her.

She then decided she wanted to jump up onto the bath ledge (she likes running around the bathroom, as I always have let my rats run there free from wires or tight spots. We have underfloor heating and I think she appreciates warm paws! :p)

Here's a video of her being, for once, quiet. ;) She teeth chatters throughout the video; this is a sign of contentment. I don't half miss that sound!

Mercedes is beautiful and I know you'll miss while in school. Her pictures make me want another rat. I miss Winkie. But my little apartment is getting a little crowded with 6 cats.

What a beautiful rattie she is. How you must miss her, but she is I am sure in the best of hands and you are forfilling your dream.
