Yup, me in my Prius, Carmine, passed a Lambo!!!!
Of course, we were both stuck in traffic, stop and go, with "go" being 4 MPH! Took a bit over an hour to go less than 11 miles, and I don't even know why!
And hey didn't that thread title get ya? :D

I don't even want to think about what the tempo gauge on that poor Lambo looked like in traffic.....
Those things are made to RUN!
My son's favorite car. He would've been drooling.
Mine as well. From about 14 years of age, I wanted one! **swoon** LOL
Yes they are so cool. But best to be enjoyed on the Autobahn where no speed limit does it justice.
Hope your son gets one someday Mary.
Yup! LOL :DQuote:

This is the one I saw, it is quite the looker. It was at an old car show that they hold every Saturday by my local Chick-fil-A. Don't know who bought this one but he must have a few extra $$ to spend.
The lambo you saw (pictiured) was a Gallardo Spyder powered by a 5.2 liter V10 engine. It has 560 hp and 380 lb ft. of torque to all four wheels. It can go 0 to 60 mph in 4 seconds and a top speed of 201 mph.
lady's human
Actually this car was as cool as a cucumber at slow speeds. The Lambo has the same engine as the Audi R8 5.2 which is noted for being as happy at slow speeds as it is on the autobahn. The Lamborghini company is owned by Audi that is a part of VW.Quote:

Living on Vancouver's west side, it's not at all unusual to see Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Maseratis (sp??) and all other sorts of amazing vehicles. Then again, homes in the area go for at least 2-3 million.. so I suppose if you can afford that kind of money for a home, money for a car like that would be pocket change!!!
I almost crunched a Maserati driving up to town a couple weeks ago. He was having fun on the road, didn't think that there might actually be traffic on the road.
F-150 meets Maserati? Wouldn't want to be in the sedan. :p
Lambo may be owned by Audi now, but they still have that famous Italian reliability. :p

Brings a new meaning to "Up in Smoke"
Jalopnik has been having fun with the Ferrari and Lambo fire issues.
Couldn't help but think of that old song - "Beep-Beep" when I read this. I'm now sitting here singing it to myself....:D
Oh Ellie, now I am going have that song in my head all day! HA haaaaaa!
They are rare around here as well, which is why they catch the eye the moment you see one.
Their speed and proformence is sort of wasted here. Time to head to the Audobahn.
I saw a Lamborghini on the way to work a few weeks ago; it might have been the one in the pic. Too bad you couldn't get a picture of the one you saw. If I were stuck in traffic I'd get out my Blackberry and ask the driver if I could photograph the sweet ride.:)
