I love the Golden Girls and have giggled many giggles over their show with my mom, brother and best friend. I'm very saddened by this news :(
Such a shame, I'm sorry, I liked her a lot. I watched Golden Girls just last night.:(
:( Yes how so sad.. I just read of her passing.. Yes this leaves Betty White (Rose) left.. RIP Rue M. .. I always loved to watch the Golden Girls..
She died young, will be missed.

Many people don;t know this, but she was a true animal lover as well, and I am sure was met by quite a crew when she reached the Rainbow Bridge, and a had a joyful reunion.

This is such disheartening news :( May Rue, RIP. She never ceased to make me laugh while watching the Golden Girls.
Another sad loss of another Golden Girl. Every time we lose one of these ladies I feel like we've lost a family member. I know they're all having a grand reunion at the bridge now.

Another great loss for the entertainment world. I still watch Golden Girls on reruns and laugh as much now as I did the first time. Nobody else could have done the role of Blanche, it's as if the part was written just for Rue McClanahan. Rue was outstanding in the part.
RIP, Rue. Because you gave us the wonderful gift of the Golden Girls you will always be remembered fondly.
