Here in the UK brown vinegar usually means malt vinegar. We use it to pickle onions, on fish & chips and some other dishes.
Most home remedies for cats and dogs ask for the apple cider vinegar and since they are calling it brown vinegar I would assume it's A/C.
I wonder if the Earl of Ebony would stand still for me dabbing at him with fennell and vingar?

It is apple cider vinegar, my mother would make it to use on us.
The only problem I see is that most if not all cats hate vinegar.
And yes it is a good body cleanser....I take a table spoon a day. I love vinegar.
