I felt so bad for the kitty, and am glad he's now safe. How terribly uncomfortable, I hope he doesn't have any long-term problems because of it!

I saw the picture and couldn't even begin to read the story, I was so horrified.

I hope Rubick is a more inside kitty now, especially since the AC officer said she had seen several cases like this, resulting from the cat escaping a "predator" (or a lively dog).
