I'll never understand people who can just move off and abandon pets. :( Where would they be if their parents did that to them. Animals are as trusting and innocent as kids and deserve the same love and care. I am so happy you have two humans that love you and are taking great care of you now. Considering his fur and the shape of his face and features, isn't it possible he has some Persian in him? Whatever is in his DNA just makes him more interesting, but his sweet personality is everything, and all in a good-looking package! Amazing that anyone could leave him behind leading to his health problems, but thanks to his lionhearted strength and to the people who love him for getting him well.
