Bernie?

Is it the St. Bernard or the Bernese Mountain Dog that's nicknamed "Bernie" ?

Could be either, depending on who is talking! Sometimes people call St. Bernards just Saints, so it is slightly more likely they're referring to a Bernese Mountain dog, but they are related breeds, anyway!
