Again?????
We (or should I say Mark is the one parading out in the rain!) are in the process of once again doing the hydrogen peroxide treatment. I am crying so hard I can't even see the screen. While I was making dinner Malone snuck into the living room and got my peace plant. We called the vet and now we have to make him puke it up. I always feel so responsible when this happens. Why, oh why do I let him get into bad things?? I am so afraid that one day he is going to really get into trouble and I won't notice or something. He is only almost 6 months old, and this is the third time we are going through this. I feel so paranoid!

I'm so sorry Malone isn't feeling well!!! I don't know anything about peace plants.. is there somewhere higher up where he can't get into it? Maybe you will have to get rid of it.
I'm praying for the best results!!

I know it was so stupid of me...I keep kicking myself. I got one of those fish bowl ones (fishbowl on bottom peace plant on top) and I didn't even look to see if it was harmful. Then I put it in the livingroom kind of high up, but Malone could reach it if he jumped up on his two hind legs. Now, it is on top of the entertainment center against the wall so that there is NO WAY he can reach it. But I agree, if we can't keep him away from it, then the plant GOES!

Hey I don't think you are stupid at all.. sometimes our kids do things that we would never dream of!! But please know that you and Malone are in my thoughts. I don't have dogs but my kitties (begrudgingly, but they are very polite) send him headbumpies and quite willingly send love from a distance.
Please let us know how he is doing!

Thank you so much, Nomilynn. That means so much to me right now!! :)

Re: Again?????
I did not know those were called Peace Plants.
My Aunt has one of those, but the fish died.
Well, all's I can say that Rocky and Pepper ate
everything in sight for the first 2 years of their life.
I had to dig up every non-friendly plant I had,
and anything in the house had to be out of
reach. I even had to unhook my outside hoses,
and drip system.
Remember he is just a pup still, so baby pup
proof your house the best you can.
Give Malone lots of hugs and don't be so hard on
yourself. : )

We are back to normal! :D Lots of bouncing & bubbling energy. Phew!

We're glad our precious Malone is doing ok :)
-
Whew! I know that scared you. Those puppies sure do know how to get into trouble, don't they? s Hugs to Malone, and you, Mom. :)

I am so glad Malone is ok now. :)
I have had to make Bobby sick a number of times because of what he has eaten, and spent lots of times worrying in case he has eaten something bad! I cannot begin to list the things he has swallowed, both at home and outside, at one time I even contemplated muzzling him when I took him out.
He has gotten a lot better over the last year (he is 4 now) but I still have to watch him, I just do not trust him still! He will go for days/week not bothering at all, or if he does pick something up brings it is for an exchange for a treat. Then, out of the blue he regularly starts picking up and will not give up, swallows before I can even blink. It is a real worry! And maddening too!

I'm so happy to hear that Malone is doing better!!!!
Once my parents dogs got under the Christmas tree and ate a LOT of chocolate.. they were pooping tin foil wrappers for a week but thank GOD they were ok!
Good to know Malone is all back to normal!! :D

I just saw this thread... so glad Malone is okay!

I just also saw this thread today. Don't feel like your a bad mom. Puppy's get into everything! Just this past Tuesday I went outside in time to see Abby & Buddy playing tug of was with one of those squeaky-bladder's that are inside the squeaky toys. I shutter to think that one of them could have swallowed it in a heart beat and chocked.
