Woohoo!!!
Hey Vio- congratulations! I am sure there are not many Moldovan americans:)
WHAT? What have I missed?
Joh- maybe you missed a wedding? (In this case Vio's wedding)?
Jo, I married the best guy last year and since he is military and we are overseas, the new law allows me to become American a little earlier.
The process was sometimes a little difficult, but today I finally became American.
It is interesting how I got to my interview. My flight from Munchen to DC on Saturday was cancelled. I was put on a Chicago flight, then Charleston, SC, then we drove for ten hours to get into DC. On Monday morning, when I was supposed to have the interview, the federal government was closed. I went again today and they were nice to take me for an interview and oath ceremony.
So, here I am, American :)
Congratulation's!!

Congratulations, welcome! If you're ever up near Boston, let us know, okay?
My mom used to be in charge of throwing big parties for the new citizens at the Worcester, MA courthouse, before some judge decided it was too much fuss, and didn't allow parties any more.
No! I knew you married, you were a beautiful bride. What I did not realize was the quicker process to become an American! Congrats! And are you in the states now? I am only a 5 hour drive from Chicago...lol!
