That is a new one! I know we carry our pets hairs with us everywhere ... but that's taking it a little far!
I know it and it was really uncomfortable. Learn something new every day :)
I work in medicine and have never heard of "hair otitis" :)
Being a groomer I get hair splinters alot. At least that's what I call 'em. Usually the hairs get stuck into my fingers, but sometimes they get stuck on my face.
The worst was in the summer I was wearing flip flops and I got a hair splinter in between my toes.
I've never had one in my ear though!!! Can't imagine what that would have been like...
