Tina had her surgery!!!

Tina Peepers had her ear surgery for the removal of the bleeding ulcer in her right ear yesterday. The vet went down to the " horizontal canal," so a partial oblation of the ear was done. We went to bring Tina home last evening, but she had started to bleed from the incision. She was medicated for pain, and Dr. A was able to stop the bleeding, and bandaged Tina's head. So, Tina spent the night at the vet. Barry took a photo of Tina which I sent tp a fellow PT talker, and asked that the photo be posted(I still cannot do that, Barry hd to email it to me!!). I am waiting for the vet to call and let me know I can pick Tina up. The biopsy results in about three days.....will keep you posted.....

Awww, poor little Tina! I hope she feels better and heals quickly, and that she doesn't have any more trouble.

I went to see Tina this morning. She could get out of the cage fast enough!!! Tina's face is a bit swollen from the bandage, and she now looks like a Persian!!! What had happened was when the vet removed the bandage, she shook her head and then the bleeding started again. Bandage back on, and staying at the vet for another day. Barry went to see her after work, she was happy to see dad!!! I know she is being spoiled, the staff loves her! Thanks Astrid for posting that sorry photo of Tina!!!
