Kim and Bear, abuse case
This is the rescue I am trying to help with now.
Kim was tied up and abandoned. She could not reach her puppies. They died before her eyes. How horrific can that be? Inches away and unable to free yourself to reach them. After the tears, I am furious.
They are in Missouri. They need to be adopted out together. They are 5 yrs. old. Their owner died and no one wanted to take care of them, so no one did. Here's their link http://www.petrescuestl.com/dog2.htm

Anyone here interested in these two?? Pray that they quickly find a loving home together. Thanks!

I'll keep my ears open...if I can't find anyone or you can't let me know.

Oh my god that is so horrible. That make me so MAD:mad: Well I hope they can find great home because they are gorgeous and deserve it!!!!
-
That makes me very angery also and mad. I hope they find a loving home.

Some people scare me
I cannot believe some people would treat animals like this. I just don't get it. They must have mental illness.
I surely hope these pups find good homes. I wish I could take them, but I cannot.
How very sad.

Sue, what a sad story! Bear and Kim are so gorgeous!
They will be in my thoughts. Hope they can find a home soon.

So adorable and so sad how they came to be at the shelter.
I hope they find their forever home soon.

The thought of her watching those babies die is enough to do me in, Sue. I'm sure there are worse stories, but I'm not sure I could handle knowing about them. :( I hope Kim and Bear will find loving homes, and soon.

Kim and Bear are safe in their foster home now. Bear is being treated for heartworm. They are good with children and puppies. The word is out to find them a forever home together. Hoping it will happen very soon!

Nothing yet, Molly. Did you hear anything? I'm working through a lady who lives near where these dogs are being fostered. She wasn't able to visit them this weekend, but she will be going next weekend. I haven't heard anything back from the lead on a possible adopter in St. Louis. He doesn't have the internet, so it takes a while to communicate. I will let you know as soon as I find out anything.
See my post in Today I Saved a Life for a very happy ending for Corrine!!!

Sometimes reading about these horrors is almost more than I can bear. But if these brave doggies could suffer such abuse, I should have the courage to read their story. I am so sorry and saddened over the loss of those beautiful puppies. May their sweet, innocent souls be at peace. What torture that must have been for Kim:( I hope that soon they will find the loving home they deserve. Thanks Sue for intervening; and Mugsy too!:)
