Gotta love that face! Whitey was a beauty inside and out and one can only imagine how much you miss her. Hindsight is always 20/20 but Whitey knows how much you loved her and gave her the best of care. Whitey was a good companion to you and most deserving of her title of COTD. :love:

Your story about Whitey reminds me of my last night with Smokey my 23 + year old adopted Cat, One night he was lying on me while I was trying to get to sleep for work the next day.
Eventually he settle down and went to sleep.
He passed on the next day and I felt badly that I hadnt let him show his affection.
We never know when Our Ctas will suddenly go, and when its unexpected like that its just a sad coincedence that you didnt follow your usual procedure and go to bed with Whitey as usual!!

Whitey understands and she knows how much you miss her , and that there will be times when you meet again in a Great Luxury Hotel when you will settle down to a Graet Room Service Tray Together with Her Family and Brother.

It is so sad when we lose a loved pet but we all know they are a member of the family and not just a pet. I lost my Misty last November and still am not over that loss tho I adopted another shelter kitty. It takes a lot of time to get over our loved ones.

Whitey was just such a special cat!!! And knows how much you loved her! Sleep softly, sweet Whitey....

Oh, what a beautiful kitty you were Whitey, not only in looks but in spirit.:love: My heart breaks knowing you are no longer there with your Mommy, that despite having lived a full and long life, you were lost to her so suddenly, so unexpectedly.:( But we want your Mommy to know that there isn't one of us here, who in the wake of such a painful loss, haven't lamented what we might have done, wished we had done that one last time.:( But deep down your Mommy knows that every moment of your life on this earth you were loved and cherished, unconditionally. And now you wait patiently for her at the Rainbow Bridge, showing off your glorious angel wings to all of our beloved Rainbow Bridge babies, kicking up your paws, healthy and whole once more. You were loved in life Whitey, and your legacy of love will continue to live on in your Mommy's heart, and in the many cherished memories she holds there, until that day you and she are reunited. Until then, send down your love to comfort her Whitey, she misses you so.
To the Mom of precious Whitey, my heartfelt condolences. We all know how difficult it is to lose a beloved furkid. What a pretty girl you are Whitey, with your flame markings and squishy little nose. I'm sorry you passed on so unexpectedly and I know your family misses you very much. It is always difficult to lose a beloved furbaby. Whitey, you are a wonderful COTD and we honor your memory.
