What are your top 5 favorite dog breeds? (You can't choose more than that ;))

American Pit Bull Terrier (APBT) and any bully breed
Hounds
Rotties
Labs
Mutts

DOGS??! DOGS??! Oh, well, if I HAVE to...:rolleyes: My Pinot will have a fit!

Irish Setters (we bred them when I was young)
Greyhounds (they're so sweet!)
Shelties
Labs
and, of course...rescue heinz 57's!! :) ("mixed breed")

Hmmm .... tough! Because a lot of breeds that I think are absolutely gorgeous and cool, I wouldn't actually own. For example, I love the sweet personality and beautiful appearance of a Newfoundland; but the size, the hair, the slobber ... oh no, I couldn't own that.

So, my favorite breeds I'd actually own, I suppose, are:

Jack Russell Terriers
Italian Greyhounds
Whippets
Australian Cattle Dogs

Basset Hound

Great Pyreness
Mastiff
Saint Bernard

Poodles (all 3 sizes!)

They have all been in this family at one time, except for the Maltese.
