This morning in Cochrane and Calgary...
-
We had snow last Sunday, but it only lasted that one day. Of course, anyone who was watching the football game knew that - the Patriots were playing poor Tennessee, and the only time you even saw grass was when a player went down and body-plowed!
Your pictures are very pretty, though Paul is very glad it doesn't look like that here yet! Will it be cold enough for your snow to last overnight? Here we are having a blustery rainy windy night, very classic October weather.

Very nice to look at but I sure wouldn't want to drive in it.:) I've never driven in snow or on icy roads before.

Are those views from your windows, Candace?
Beautiful pictures, but... a reminder of what's in store here soon, to my dismay.. BRRRRRR!!!!.........
We haven't had any snow here yet, but there has been some not much farther north in Michigan.

Oh man the white stuff season sure has come around quick :D. We are going for lovely summer like weather later in the week and next weekend & might even make it to the dog beach on Saturday :).
Lovely photos.

It looks beautiful! :) Once the temperature rises, it won't be fun to walk around in, though. We have not had any snow here yet, but lots of rain.

 WoW weeee Snow everywhere.. Its all so Pretty.. Could you send some Snow to Tx without the real bad cold winds..:D
-
I was out running errands in that white stuff. It was nasty. Thank goodness it didn't last, this time.
-
Lord have mercy! I would never survive. It was 50-ish and windy at a gathering we had on the beach last night and I was FREEEEEEE-zing!

We already got snow a few times, too, though not as much as it looks like you got. It's been a really cold fall and I think this year we will probably get a lot of snow (last El Nino year in 2006 we got about 6-7 feet of snow over the course of the winter and one 26" snow storm...). We are supposed to get more snow mid-week.
I hope your winter shapes up better than ours (though if you really like snow, I guess it's a good thing!).
Are you just east of the Canadian Rockies? Living so close to the mountains really brings some "interesting" weather sometimes! :)
